This Coastal home was designed by Christian P. Hemrick, RA, NCARB, while working for MHK Architecture. The residence was built according to these initial design documents, that show the extent of openness on the sunset side. The client wanted a completely separate guest quarters on the first floor south, that also opened up to the pool deck and beach view. This unobscured view brings the natural ocean setting in, while maintaining a separation from the public right-of-way. Levels including the outdoor living and rooftop monitor also welcome in the beach setting. The unbuilt version is an AI rendering of the Southwest Gulf home relocated to the Northeast Atlantic Coast.
