This industrial building, developed for a women’s athletic apparel brand, was designed by Christian P. Hemrick, RA, NCARB, while working with Phoenix Associates of SWFL. Fulfillment, distribution, administration, design, and storage were all programmed to take place here. Mixed-occupancy buildings involving hazardous materials like this require special protection against flammable items and poisonous fumes. Code reviews here involved groups B, S, M, F, & A. Separations had to account for distance between activities as well as thickness of assemblies.
